Walkman Restoration

Every now and again you find the perfect Ebay auction. In this case a “non-working Walkman WM-F10 for parts only”. The most common issue with these old cassette players is that the small rubber belt inside that drives the spindle has decayed into a black gunk. With some patience and precision its a relatively easy fix and after figuring out the right size for the replacement belt, I can get another 30 years out of this thing before I have to do it all over again.
